A rosy little charmer that looks like it wandered out of a Victorian tea garden.
This antique Bavarian porcelain creamer features hand-painted pink roses, flowing Art Nouveau lines, and an unusual fitted lid. The soft ivory-to-moss-green glaze creates a lovely backdrop for the floral decoration, while delicate gold accents highlight the sculptural handle, finial, and scalloped rim.
The piece is marked "Bavaria" on the underside and likely dates to the early 1900s, when hand-painted Bavarian porcelain was highly sought after for tea services and parlor entertaining. Today it makes a beautiful display piece for cottagecore, romantic, and shabby chic interiors, or a lovely addition to a porcelain collection.
Please note that this piece has several small chips and areas of wear, particularly around the handle and rim, as shown in the photos. It remains highly decorative and displays beautifully. Pairs beautifully with the Antique “Roses à la Paris” Cake Plate, also in my shop.
