An elegant antique German porcelain bowl produced by Kuno Steinmann, Tiefenfurt, Germany, circa 1900–1915.
The underside bears the crowned “S” over “Germany” mark associated with Steinmann’s Tiefenfurt factory, along with the decorative script “Roses à la Paris.”
This finely molded bowl features:
• Scalloped rim with pierced double handles
• Hand-painted blush and yellow roses
• Soft ombré ground in sage and burgundy tones
• Substantial gold gilt edging
• Sculptural Art Nouveau–influenced form
