A beautifully hand-carved folding book stand that is as much a work of art as it is a functional display piece.

This vintage folding wooden book stand (often called a rehal) features intricate openwork carving with floral and foliate motifs on both panels. Handcrafted from solid wood, it folds flat for storage and opens into a sturdy X-shaped stand suitable for displaying treasured books.

While traditionally used for holding the Quran during reading, these versatile stands are also popular for displaying Bibles, cookbooks, journals, art books, and treasured heirloom volumes. The detailed carving and warm wood grain make it a striking decorative accent even when not in use.
