Step back into the American kitchen of 1967.

This charming 6-piece beverage set — one tall pitcher and five matching cups — was made by Loma Industries of Fort Worth, Texas, a regional plastics manufacturer producing cheerful, well-made kitchenware throughout the 1960s. This set was likely made in 1967, placing it squarely in the late Mid-Century Modern era.

The design is a delight: each piece is decorated with a column of hand-illustrated market stamps, each framed in thick black border with period-accurate price tags — onions 2/15¢, tomatoes 5¢, carrots, asparagus 29¢, mushrooms 45¢/lb, bananas 2/15¢, fresh eggs grade A, sunflower seeds. The graphics are bold, graphic, and genuinely fun.

The cream-colored body sits on a gray base ring on each cup, with the pitcher featuring a sleek angular handle. The clean, modernist lines made this style of melamine-style plastic so appealing in postwar American homes for an everyday lemonade or iced tea set for the kitchen or patio. Today it makes an eye-catching display set, a prop for a cottagecore or farmhouse kitchen, or a fully functional serving set for outdoor entertaining (plastic means no breakage worries).
